A prophecy from a book I'm currently working on

 

The Lord Protector and His King

From two worlds, the Lord Protector will come.

And by his sword, his memory is won.

Hurt and broken the king will lie, 

While a viper sticks and the loyal die.

One is warm as the daylight sun,

The other as cunning as the night is long. 

The Great Gatekeeper keeps them in His care,

Wherever they may fair.

For together they will stand, 

To defend their land.
