It’s been six months since the debacle that was the Super-Con, and Ashton is still trying to navigate his new reality as Commander Ace’s sidekick-hopeful, and yes, that’s actually what they’re calling him. Because, apparently, becoming a sidekick wasn’t as easy as just accepting an offer.
Ashton always thought he could handle anything the Starbearer community threw at him. He never factored in trying to be accepted by them.
With graduating Star Academy a requirement, Ashton finds himself pulled from Olsen high, where everyone’s older than him, and transferred to a school full of Starkids, all of them older than him. He’s not the only one not thrilled about that fact.
Superpowers and high school drama shouldn’t be mixed. The combination might just be catastrophic.
